Why Suship buffers Ryzeal

Ryzeal engines want Level 4 bodies and grave setup; Suship provides both without consuming the Normal Summon Ryzeal sometimes needs. Gunkan Suship Shari special summons from deck, triggers Gunkan Suship Catch-of-the-Day searches, and equips toppings via Gunkan Sushipyard before overlaying. When opponents Ash the Ryzeal starter, Shari lines still produce material. When opponents ignore Shari, you pivot into Ryzeal Xyz for Detonator boards.

Ryzeal Detonator supplies interaction Shirauo would — you are trading omni-negate styles. Keep at least zero Shirauo only if every game plans to go second OTK; most pilots run one copy for flexibility.

Cut one Catch-of-the-Day only after Ryzeal search lines are stable — two Catch remains the responsible minimum. Never cut Catch to zero; hybrid lists still need Suship grind when Ryzeal lines fail. If you cut Catch, add it back first when matchups slow down.

Primite crossover mention

Some 2026 pilots experiment with triple hybrid — Suship plus Ryzeal plus Primite — but deck space collapses fast. Primite Dragon Ether Beryl adds another Normal Summon competitor.
